What our Visitors Say
” Good location, and very good value for money. Excellent breakfast. Rooms trendy and comfortable. Excellent plate of chips too!! “
” I loved it. Great atmosphere and awesome staff. Will definitely be going there again. “
” The whole experience was absolutely amazing! I have never felt so comfortable and welcome. The people at reception were lovely and always helpful. Management were fantastic and the lady that cleaned my room during my stay was exceptional at her job and incredibly friendly. I really enjoyed my stay here and was particularly impressed that staff went out of their way to ensure my experience was good. I have stayed at other hotels in Cape Town (some of which are very pricey) and none of them compare to this hotel. Massive thanks to the staff here. Other hotels could learn a lot from you. They helped me with absolutely everything from medical treatment, doctors to advice on staying safe (I was travelling solo) and was always greeted with a smile. They also assisted me with massive amounts of laundry without any complaint. Reception staff and cleaning staff particularly stand out. Security staff were also great. There were also multiple occasions where I left cash out on the table and valuable jewelry. Not once did I ever have to worry about anything being taken. In fact, one time I did this, housekeeping counted the money and put it in an envelope in the safe. I was very impressed by this lovely lady’s honesty. Unfortunately, I do not recall her name but I was staying in room 606 for the dates: 28th June to 9th July. If it is possible to determine who cleaned this room during this time, she should be commended on her good work. I am from Australia and I have had many things stolen from hotel rooms in my country, so it is wonderful to see that wholesome honesty still exists. 100% recommend! I will be travelling back to Cape Town in the future and wont even bother looking at any other hotels.”
” The breakfast was great! The cafe and restaurants had a good selection of local wines. The location was good too, did not get a chance to venture out at night, but the area felt very safe during the day. “
” We usually stay close to the V&A but chose this hotel on the advice of our Trail-finders rep. It a lovely comfortable hotel in a downtown location close to street markets, accessible on foot by day. The view from our room was great and the food and service excellent. However I would not recommend it for a first time tourist in Cape Town who would be better placed close to the V & A. “
