What our Visitors Say About Us

A little gem in Cape Town

“This hotel has kept up its excellent standards over the years. Stayed this time with 3 friends and we had no complaints to register.”

Great start to the holiday

“We stayed here on the first leg of our honeymoon and really enjoyed the hospitality from all the staff at Townhouse Hotel. Our room was big and furnished to a high standard with ensuite bathroom, huge bed, desk area, and separate outdoor balcony with table and chairs. There was also a bathtub in the room but due to water restrictions this was unavailable. There was a widescreen TV with DSTV as well as very good Wi-Fi access. Sleep quality was excellent with a comfortable bed and no noise from the street, despite the central location. Breakfast was also excellent with a selection of pastries, fruits, cereals etc as well as cooked to order hot breakfast- all tasty. There was also a separate bar area with comfortable seating. Staff were all very friendly and added nice touches e.g. providing us with a platter of fruit and regular supply of sweet treats. Location-wise the hotel is central (close to the Castle and City Hall), although a fair distance from V&A waterfront. However we took a taxi here which cost 80 Rand or so. Overall a very pleasant stay, thank you!”

Excellent Value Good Location

“This 4 Star hotel is well rated with great service, clean well-appointed rooms and a good size. The Trees Restaurant for breakfast was nice with a good buffet both hot and cold selections. Large selection of bread, jams, fruits, meats and pastries. There is an a la carte menu for hot items. Dinner is the restaurant is very nicely presented with a varied selection and the service was good. An alternative dining option is the main floor cafe with burgers, sandwiches and hot items all at a reasonable price.”

“The Townhouse Hotel has always been home away from home for me and my family. The hospitality, friendly faces and their painstaking care is amazing and has become their distinct characteristics. Love it here.”
