“Trying to figure out if a place is up to your standards is difficult when you are unfamiliar with its surroundings and also on a budget. I wanted a nice hotel, easily getting to the important sights of Cape Town and I didn’t want to break the bank doing so. Townhouse hotel delivered! The staff was friendly and accommodating, the rooms were well appointed. I had a Table Mountain view, very nice, the complimentary breakfast was delicious. Not only would I stay there again I would highly recommend it.”

“Amazing staff. Maybe more TV channels in English? Not that important though. Location Tip: The hotel is just a few blocks from Long Street and Green Market on a nice quiet street. Fabulous staff – great breakfast – nice room.”

“Everything was perfect from the staff very nice to the room and the restaurant. Food was very good especially the breakfast (lot of choice). The staff was GREAT, very helpful with activities booking etc, always available and smiling. They made our stay really perfect. Parking easy to access from inside the hotel, lot of places. Room with an amazing view on Table Mountain. The hotel location is also good. We will recommend this hotel to friends. Thank you very much for everything!!”

“One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in! This was an extremely pleasant stay. From the location to the restaurant, concierge, security and staff, to friendliness of housekeeping, I certainly enjoyed every part of my stay including the easy proximity to the downtown nightlife and Grand Parade Market, and street parade during the January month!”

“Stayed here for 3 nights and wasn’t disappointed. Met by door staff and led into reception where they were extremely efficient and helpful. One of the staff assisted helping get tickets for table mountain for which we were very grateful – service with a smile. Our room was on the 11th floor and was clean and comfortable – tea and coffee available with biscuits. Advised to take quick showers as Cape Town suffering severe drought and collected wastewater in a bucket that was emptied daily to water the plants which I thought was a good idea. Breakfast was plentiful – lots of fruit, cereals, juices, cakes as well as anything from a cooked menu. We ate dinner one evening and it was the best food we had in South Africa – lovely staff (Amanda was great) – couldn’t have asked for more. All in all a fantastic small hotel”
