Then power up your plate and your legs – choose your favourite pasta and top it with one (or more!) of these yummy sauces: bolognaise, ratatouille, spinach and truffle mushrooms. Add a grilled masala chicken breast or two if you want more protein, or surrender to the herbed hake fillet in calamari sauce. Add pecorino cheese, basil pesto, crushed garlic and chili paste to taste… Mmmm, yum, you’re ready for the start gun!
But wait! You’re not at the finish yet! There’s pud still to come – choose from seasonal sliced fruit or aniseed malva pudding with cinnamon anglaise.
